Job summary

GENESYS is seeking an Engineering Documentation Specialist in Kansas City to support project engineers by handling customer documentation and specs required per job. You will coordinate with engineering, sales, and project management to assemble accurate forms, update specifications, train staff on documentation processes, and ensure timely completion across departments.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Mechanical Design or 3–5 years of related experience.
• 3 years of Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD, and Vault experience.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office programs.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate documentation requirements with project engineers for each job.
• Provide forms and track documentation completion with PE and PM.
• Coordinate outsourcing of documentation to external firms.
• Maintain updated customer specifications for GENESYS.
