Job summary

GENESYS seeks an Engineering Documentation Specialist in Kansas City to support project engineers by handling customer documentation and specifications required for each job. You will coordinate documentation deadlines, assist with forms, and liaise with sales and project managers to ensure up-to-date specifications are maintained.

The role requires an Associate Degree in Mechanical Design or 3–5 years of related experience, plus proficiency with Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD, Vault, and Microsoft

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Mechanical Design or 3–5 years of related experience.
• 3 years of experience with Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD, and Vault.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office programs.
• Ability to work collaboratively across multiple departments.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with project engineers on job documentation requirements.
• Assist with filling out forms and job documentation as needed.
• Coordinate sub-contracted documentation with external firms.
• Train personnel on customer documentation processes.
• Support mechanical design and detailing when not DS-focused.
