Job summary

Petersen is seeking a Documentation Specialist in Ogden, UT. The role focuses on reviewing and preparing technical documentation packages to meet customer and contract requirements on the shop floor.

Responsibilities include verifying material test reports and certifications, coordinating with Inspection and Operations teams, and maintaining safe work practices. A High School Education is preferred with 1 year relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Must read, understand, and apply customer specifications.
• Proficient with Word, Excel, and Access.
• Familiar with ERP systems and inspection tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform a technical review on documentation and records.
• Verify required material test reports and certifications meet requirements.
• Perform in process review of all technical documentation on the shop floor.
• Prepare technical documentation packages for submittal to customers.
• Coordinate with Inspection personnel, Inspection Supervisor, Customer Focused Team, and Operations to meet documentation requirements.
• Maintain safe work environment.
