Stockell Consulting is assisting a large financial-services organization in St. Louis, MO, by hiring an Operations Specialist - Document Imaging for a 15-month contract, onsite five days a week.

The role focuses on scanning, indexing, and routing documents, with performance based on quality and volume. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, 1–2 years of data entry or production experience, and be comfortable working fully onsite in St. Louis.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• 1–2 years of data entry, document processing, or comparable production experience.
• High attention to detail with consistent accuracy under volume targets.
• Comfort following defined processes and learning new systems quickly.
• Clear communication and a self-directed working style.
• Able to work fully onsite in the St. Louis, MO area, five days per week.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, scan, and digitize physical and electronic documentation.
• Index and input imaged documents into the correct workstreams.
• Support roughly a dozen internal business areas with document and imaging requests.
• Perform processing work on a portion of the documents you handle.
• Meet daily quality and volume targets — both are measured.
• Flag documents that are incomplete, illegible, or don't match the expected format.
• Work within established procedures and applicable compliance and records-retention requirements.
• Take a proactive approach — identify what needs doing and act without waiting for assignment.
