Job summary

Michels Infrastructure Solutions, Inc. in Hubbard, TX, seeks a Document Controls Engineer to manage the organization, distribution, tracking, and maintenance of project documentation across large-scale infrastructure and data center projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Information Management, Business, or related field with 3+ years of document control or project controls experience.
• Experience with engineering data centers, EPC or large infrastructure projects preferred.
• Knowledge of document control standards and turnover documentation.
• Proficiency with document management platforms: Procore, Autodesk Construction Cloud, Aconex, SharePoint, Bluebeam.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration across technical and operational teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage document control processes across large-scale infrastructure projects.
• Maintain project document management systems with current, accurate records.
• Coordinate review, distribution, tracking, and archival of drawings, specs, submittals, RFIs, contracts, and turnover docs.
• Support compliance with document control requirements and customer expectations.
• Track document status, approvals, revisions, and workflows.
• Support turnover activities by organizing as-built docs and manuals.
