Job summary

PrideNow is seeking a Document Control Specialist / AutoCAD Designer in Fremont, CA to maintain and update architectural and MEP drawings. You will create as-built drawings from field data and coordinate with Engineering, Construction, and Facilities teams.

The role requires at least four years of AutoCAD/Drafter experience, strict attention to drawing accuracy, and strong communication. This 1-year assignment involves CAD quality control and project documentation management.

Document Control Specialist / AutoCAD Designer

Job Title: Document Control Specialist

$34.32 to $38.32

Duties

• Maintain and update architectural, MEP, P&ID, I&C, fire protection, and evacuation drawings in AutoCAD.
• Create and revise as-built drawings using field measurements, engineering documents, and construction changes.
• Perform CAD quality control, including layers, Xrefs, blocks, and drafting standards.
• Manage project documentation, close-out records, permits, and document revisions.
• Update electrical panel schedules and single-line diagrams based on field changes and EasyPower.
• Support Tririga work orders and CAD integration while coordinating with Engineering, Construction, and Facilities teams.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum 4 years of experience as an AutoCAD Designer/Drafter.
• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD, including:
• CAD standards
• Layer management
• Block attributes
• External references (Xrefs)
• Drawing quality control
• Strong understanding of architectural and engineering design principles.
• Ability to read, interpret, and produce architectural and engineering drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to drawing accuracy and quality.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes.
• Working knowledge of Bluebeam and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to support multiple teams and projects simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with EasyPower.
• Experience with Tririga.
• Experience working in semiconductor manufacturing, facilities engineering, or similar industrial environments.
