Job summary

Actalent is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Design Drafter for our Los Angeles, CA contract engagement. You will create and update engineering drawings using SolidWorks and AutoCAD, develop BOMs, and prepare complete drawing packages for assemblies, schematics, and manufacturing documents.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of drafting in electro-mechanical products, strong SolidWorks expertise, experience with AutoCAD and electrical schematics, and a sharp eye for detail.

• Strong SolidWorks experience creating detailed models, assemblies, and production drawings.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and electrical schematics.
• Experience creating BOMs, work instructions, and manufacturing documentation.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills.

Electro-Mechanical Design Drafter

What You'll Do

• Create and update engineering and manufacturing drawings using SolidWorks and AutoCAD.

What We're Looking For

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in aerospace, defense, or other regulated manufacturing environments.
• Knowledge of AS9100, ITAR, and configuration/revision control processes.
• Familiarity with PCB design tools such as Altium.
• Technical training or education in drafting, engineering technology, or a related field.
• Ability to travel occasionally.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Los Angeles, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $37.00/hr.
