A leading pharmaceutical manufacturing company is seeking a detail-oriented Document Control & Administrative Coordinator for a 6-month contract in Springfield, MO. The role involves managing documentation systems in compliance with regulations and providing administrative support across various departments. Job Summary:
Our client, a well-established pharmaceutical manufacturing company is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Document Control & Administrative Coordinator to support our quality and compliance functions. This will be a 6-month contract role in their facility in Springfield, MO with a pay of $21.81/hour.
This role is responsible for managing documentation systems in compliance with FDA Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), OSHA, EPA, DEA regulations, and internal company policies. In addition, the role serves as the primary point of contact at the site’s main reception, providing a professional and welcoming experience for all visitors.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate and maintain site-wide document control systems to ensure compliance with FDA, OSHA, EPA, DEA, and company policies.
Manage and organize quality control (QC) records, including raw material, intermediate, and finished product release documentation.
Oversee test methods, specifications, validation protocols, calibration, and qualification documentation.
Ensure all documentation is indexed, filed, archived, and easily retrievable in accordance with internal procedures.
Maintain training records using a Learning Management System (LMS).
Organize and maintain both hard copy and electronic filing systems, including off-site archival.
Provide administrative support to various departments including QA/QC, Human Resources, Maintenance, and Accounts Payable.
Support logistics for audits, corporate and regulatory meetings, and on-site events (may include coordinating travel, lodging, meals, etc.).
Manage calendars and schedules for Site Leadership Team members.
Serve as front desk support, greeting visitors and ensuring efficient processing and a positive experience.
Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
Perform other administrative and clerical tasks as assigned by the site management team.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in an administrative or document control role.
Experience with SAP preferred.
Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) strongly desired.
Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail.
Excellent communication and time management abilities.
Professional and pleasant demeanor for interacting with visitors and team members.
Demonstrated ability to manage and safeguard confidential information.
