Document Control Specialist - Full-Time
Pay: $21.00 per hour | Schedule: Monday-Friday | Job Type: Full-Time | Location: Claremore, OK | On-site Work Environment: Office-based within an active manufacturing facility

Must-Have Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in document control, quality administration, engineering administration, records management, or compliance support preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint
- Experience with Adobe Acrobat and PDF editing
- Experience with document management systems, ERP systems, and revision-control processes
- Ability to read engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple documents, revisions, deadlines, and priorities
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to maintain confidential and controlled information
The Document Control Specialist is responsible for maintaining company, customer, engineering, quality, and compliance documentation to make sure information is accurate, current, approved, secure, and accessible. This position will work closely with engineering, quality, and other departments while supporting document control, configuration management, audits, and compliance requirements.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Maintain document-control systems, revision histories, approval workflows, and document registers
- Manage document numbering, release status, version control, and approval processes
- Process SOP revisions, engineering changes, policy updates, and document releases
- Maintain drawings, specifications, work instructions, forms, routers, BOMs, and quality records
- Distribute current document revisions and properly archive outdated documents
- Coordinate with department leaders to keep policies and procedures accurate and up to date
- Communicate document and policy changes across departments
- Manage customer drawings, specifications, and technical documentation
- Use secure file-sharing platforms such as PreVeil, OneDrive, SharePoint, and customer portals
- Manage permissions and controlled access for internal and external users
- Protect confidential, proprietary, customer-controlled, and export-controlled information
- Support AS9100D, ISO 9001, CMMC, ITAR, EAR, SOX, and customer compliance requirements
- Assist with internal, customer, registrar, cybersecurity, and regulatory audits
- Track document revisions, approvals, retention requirements, and compliance information
- Support continuous improvement and standardization of documentation processes
Additional Qualifications
- Quality, engineering, business, or compliance-related education is preferred
- Experience working within a manufacturing environment is a plus
- Strong record-management and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently while communicating effectively across departments
- Comfortable working with computers, scanners, copiers, and document-management systems
- Ability to move throughout an active manufacturing facility
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds
- Must be able to wear required PPE when entering production areas
