Job summary

Top Prospect Group seeks an experienced Document Control Manager to lead documentation activities in a fast-paced electronics manufacturing environment in Seymour, CT. You will oversee accuracy and release of technical and customer documentation and manage a team of 5 direct reports.

You will handle BOMs, CAD drawings, Gerber files, specifications, procedures, ECOs, and revision control, while coordinating with Engineering, Quality, Program Management, and Production to prevent delays.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical discipline.
• Experience leading document control in electronics manufacturing or EMS.
• Strong understanding of BOMs, drawings, ECOs, and technical docs.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support a team of 5 within Documentation.
• Process customer documentation and electronic data.
• Review packages for completeness and accuracy.
• Manage BOMs, CAD files, Gerber files, specs, procedures, assembly and test docs.
• Communicate issues to PM and Engineering.
• Prepare docs and work instructions for manufacturing.
• Enter/maintain BOMs in the MRP system.
• Create/update routings and workflow info.
• Generate reports from MRP/ERP systems.
• Maintain revision control and customer docs.
• Collaborate across Engineering, Quality, PM, and Production.
• Identify issues and drive solutions to prevent delays.
