Job summary

Giga Energy seeks a Document Control Specialist to drive document flow across Design, Engineering, Procurement, and Construction. You will build the control system in Forma, oversee reviews, and ensure a clean, traceable paper trail as projects scale.

The role blends hands-on setup with governance, requiring proactive problem solving, and rapid iteration in a fast-paced startup environment with onsite work in Houston or nearby hubs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of document control or related role in engineering/procurement/construction.
• Proficient in Google Workspace (Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Drive).
• Working knowledge of Autodesk Forma and Bluebeam Revu.

Responsibilities

• Administer document management and governance over control standards.
• Create reviews in Forma/Bluebeam and coordinate sessions.
• Invite reviewers, set timelines, track comments and distribute consolidated feedback.
• Maintain logs of documents in review across active projects.
• Prepare placeholders in Forma for deliverables and set up project sites.
• Assemble procurement packages and verify current revisions before issuance.
• Generate weekly progress reports and monthly milestone updates.
• Coordinate with internal teams to track tasks and project updates.
• Support change management and access provisioning for Forma.
