US Tech Solutions in Gary, Indiana is seeking a Document Control Specialist to own the organization, integrity, and accessibility of engineering project documentation across a portfolio of capital projects. The role centers on SharePoint, Microsoft 365, and AI tooling to build, maintain, and adapt project document environments as standards evolve.

You will design metadata structures, migrate content from legacy systems, manage versioning and permissions, and train project teams on library use

Qualifications

Experience configuring SharePoint Online document libraries with metadata and permissions.
Advanced proficiency across Microsoft 365 apps and cloud-based workflows.
Proven use of AI tools in production projects with documented outcomes.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain SharePoint Online sites and document libraries for engineering projects.
Develop and administer metadata structures, views, and permissions per governance policy.
Migrate content from legacy systems and ensure links and history remain intact.
Train managers and staff on library use, tagging, and AI-assisted retrieval.
Maintain versioning, retention, and cross-project consistency for reporting.
