LanceSoft, Inc. in Gary, Indiana, seeks a Document Control Specialist to own the organization, integrity, and accessibility of engineering project documentation using SharePoint Online, Microsoft 365, and AI tooling.

You will design, build, and maintain document environments, develop metadata structures, and ensure retrievability and governance across a portfolio of capital projects. Training project managers and staff on library usage and AI tooling will be part of the role.

Formación

• Hands-on experience configuring SharePoint Online document libraries.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft 365 apps.
• Experience using AI tools in production work.
• Proven ability to maintain accurate document libraries.
• Adaptability as standards evolve.
• Experience with Power Platform (preferred).
• SharePoint provisioning or design automation (preferred).

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, and maintain SharePoint sites and libraries.
• Develop metadata structures and validation rules.
• Configure library views, filters, and sorting.
• Manage versioning, retention, and permissions.
• Migrate docs from legacy systems to SharePoint.
• Train project teams on library use and AI tools.
• Suggest improvements to document management practices.
• Stay current with SharePoint, M365, Power Platform, and AI updates.
