Responsibilities

• Load and unload freight on trailers using forklifts or manually per DOT guidelines.
• Use loading techniques like tight or cross loading to secure cargo.
• Monitor freight locations using the Yard Management System.
• Read and interpret shipping labels and forms.
• Ensure proper securing of freight inside trailers with straps or airbags.
