Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is hiring a Dockmaster for our Pryor, Arkansas facility on the 3rd shift (Mon-Thu, 10:00pm–8:30am). The role focuses on overseeing dock activities, guiding trailer movements, and ensuring safety and operational discipline.

You will work closely with operations, transportation, safety, and customer teams to maintain efficient yard flow. Ideal candidates have experience in warehouse or dock environments, can coordinate complex dock tasks, and are proficient with Office 365 and

Qualifications

• Experience in a warehouse, distribution, dock, yard, or transportation environment.
• Ability to coordinate dock/yard activities in a fast-paced operation.
• Knowledge of trailer docking, release procedures, and trailer anatomy.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions and varied terrain.
• Follow defined processes, safety standards, and escalation procedures.
• Strong communication skills for daily customer-facing and cross-functional interactions.

Responsibilities

• Champion operation safety and support of dock-related equipment and tools.
• Serve as primary contact for loading/unloading dock activities and coordinate trailer movements.
• Manage and sequence trailer docking, release, and yard flow following safety standards.
• Monitor dock conditions and escalate unsafe situations per procedures.
• Collaborate daily with site operations, transportation, yard services, and customer teams.
• Communicate professionally with internal/external stakeholders and document issues.
