Job summary

You will read shipping labels, follow DOT guidelines, and use the Dock Yard Management System to track shipments. This role demands safety, reliability, and a team mentality in a fast-paced service center.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Knowledge of safe lifting and freight handling procedures.
• Able to interpret shipping labels and freight paperwork.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload freight on trailers using forklift, pallet jack, or manual methods.
• Transport freight within the service center on various surfaces and ensure timely movement.
• Read shipping labels and complete freight documents as needed.
• Secure freight inside trailers using straps, airbags, and other securing devices.
• Maintain safety and quality when loading and unloading to protect deliveries.
