The role emphasizes accuracy in labeling, documentation, and continuous movement of freight within service centers. A strong work ethic and teamwork are essential in a fast-paced OD Family environment.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• Familiar with safe and efficient lifting and transporting procedures.
• Ability to read and interpret shipping labels and freight documents.
• Experience with freight forms such as shipping orders and freight bills is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload freight on trailers using forklifts or manually.
• Secure freight inside trailers using straps and other securing devices.
• Monitor and manage shipment locations using the dock yard system.
• Read and interpret shipping labels and forms related to freight movement.
• Ensure correct loading procedures and protect freight from damage.
• Work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
