Qualifications

• Excellent problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and procedures in a warehouse or dock setting.
• Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant technology.
• Effective communication skills to interact with diverse teams and customers.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage daily dock activities ensuring timely loading/unloading of shipments.
• Supervise dock personnel and provide guidance to maintain productivity.
• Assign tasks to dock workers for optimal resource use.
• Collaborate with warehouse and transportation teams to streamline workflow.
• Monitor inventory levels and report discrepancies.
• Implement safety protocols and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Conduct regular inspections of equipment and facilities for maintenance needs.
• Resolve operational challenges and address customer concerns promptly.
• Maintain records of shipments, including damaged/missing items.
