Job summary

Goodwill of Central and Coastal Virginia is seeking a Lead Associate Dock (Finance) to direct dock activities, supervise staff, and ensure the safe, expedient loading, unloading, and movement of material.

Responsibilities include coordinating trailer handling, maintaining outbound shipment records, delivering strong customer service, seeking efficiencies, and assisting with trailer movements as required. A high school diploma or GED and 3 years related experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred; combination of education and work experience considered.
• 3 years' experience in a related field required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the loading and off-loading of trailers, pre-sort and transfer material from the dock to designated departments, safely and efficiently.
• Maintain accurate documentation and oversight of outbound shipments.
• Provide excellent customer service to external and internal customers.
• Seek process efficiencies and provide timely feedback to leadership.
• Provide trailer movement as needed.
