Job summary

Goodwill Houston is seeking a Dock Lead to supervise the dock and salvage team, under the Salvage Manager and Outlet Operations Manager. Lead daily operations, provide training, ensure safe handling of donated goods, and drive productivity to support mission services funding.

The role requires supervising a fast-paced team, coordinating with managers, adhering to safety standards, and maintaining accurate inventory and logistics for post-retail activities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in warehouse setting preferred.
• Previous supervisorial experience preferred.
• Must be able to read, write, communicate effectively in English and perform basic mathematical skills.
• Must be able to become forklift certified, or prior experience operating a forklift.
• Ability to multi-task, make quick decisions and work in a fast paced environment.
• Must have reliable transportation and punctual attendance.
