Job summary

Forward Air Corporation is seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to safely handle loading, unloading, staging, and moving freight in a dock environment. You will operate sit-down/stand-up forklifts and related MHE with a focus on accuracy and safety.

The role requires 3+ years of dock or warehouse experience, a valid forklift certification, and clear English communication. You will join a team committed to safety and efficient freight movement in a dynamic terminal setting.

Qualifications

• Valid forklift certification/licensure required.
• 3+ years of dock or warehouse experience.
• Ability to communicate in English, both verbal and written.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs with assistance or equipment.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload freight using sit-down/stand-up forklifts and other MHE.
• Move, stage, sort, and position freight between dock doors, trailers, and designated areas.
• Label, scan, and track freight for accuracy and documentation integrity.
• Maintain safety policies, OSHA requirements, and PPE standards.
