Job summary

FedEx Freight is seeking a Warehouse Dock Worker to move freight on the dock and assist with trailer loading. You will operate forklift and pallet jacks, verify documentation, secure loads, and assist customers as needed. This role requires physical ability and reliability in a fast-paced setting.

Starting rate is $21.16 per hour with shifts 0500-0900 and 1700-2100. We emphasize safety, teamwork, and adherence to company policies while delivering dependable service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Prior warehousing or freight handling experience preferred.
• Hostler/yard duties experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Transport freight within dock area to/from trailers.
• Operate forklift, pallet jack, and hand truck as needed.
• Verify freight documentation matches description (type, weight, hazmat).
• Secure freight inside trailers using pallets, straps, and ropes.
• Recoup/repair damaged freight when necessary.
• Complete required documentation and reports.
