Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• One to five years’ relevant experience and/or training preferred
• Basic mechanical skills
• Welding and cutting torch experience preferred
• Lift truck and Scissor lift operation experience preferred
• Basic knowledge of D.C. electricity and A.C. electricity, motor control and wiring preferred
• Basic knowledge of hydraulic systems preferred
• Must maintain a clean driving record
• Must be able to lift and/or move up to 75 pounds or more
• Company paid short-term disability insurance

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot dock and door equipment per customer demands.
• Install and repair rolling and panel overhead doors, dock levelers, dock locks, safety gates and truck shelters.
• Promote service maintenance programs and the dealership to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Complete required safety training and follow company procedures.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and proper inventory of tools and parts.
• Maintain records of service work and ensure timely paperwork submission.
• Maximize labor revenue and efficiency in coordination with dispatch and management.
• Be flexible with work schedule and participate in on-the-job training.
