Job summary

Carolina Handling, a Raymond Dealer, seeks a Dock & Door Service Technician to install, maintain, and troubleshoot dock and door equipment across customer sites. You will work safely, follow procedures, and deliver high customer satisfaction while promoting service maintenance programs.

Reporting to the Dock & Door Operations Manager, you will handle doors, levelers, locks, gates, and shelters, with a focus on efficiency, safety, and professional customer interaction.

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical skills and customer-facing abilities are required.
• Strong time management and safety awareness are essential.
• A valid driver's license and clean driving record are required.

Responsibilities

• Service, installation, and maintenance of dock and door equipment.
• Diagnose faults and assess site conditions to plan work.
• Maintain records and ensure paperwork is accurate and timely.
• Promote maintenance programs and uphold safety and professionalism.
• Collaborate with Parts and Sales to meet customer needs.
• Travel daily to customer sites with possible overtime.
