Cobalt Recruitment is seeking a DOB Expediter / Junior Project Manager in The Bronx. You will own the permitting and inspection process for the team, filing permits, tracking LAAs with the NYC Department of Buildings, and supporting field leaders to ensure timely approvals.

This role requires 1–3+ years of relevant experience, strong organizational skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. Salary ranges from $100,000 to $125,000 per year, with benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualificações

• 1–3+ years in construction permitting, expediting, or project coordination.
• Familiarity with NYC Department of Buildings permit filing and processes.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through.
• Comfortable handling a high volume of permits and inspection reports.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and basic office software.

Responsabilidades

• File permits and LAAs with the NYC DOB for plumbing and fire protection projects.
• Schedule inspections and manage sign-offs for permits and LAAs.
• Own close-out documentation for all permitted projects.
• Submit field inspection and testing reports (NFPA 25, fire pump testing, etc.).
• Manage legalization processes for relevant work scopes.
• Open/manage DOB, Con Edison, and National Grid gas emergency cases.
• Own FDNY violation removal and scheduling.
• Support field supervisors and project managers with PM tasks.
• Visit DOB offices and job sites as needed.
• Assist senior leadership with internal filings and special projects.
