The University of Maryland School of Nursing (UMSON) invites applications for a Program Specialist to provide comprehensive administrative and operational support for the DNP program. The role supports the Associate Dean and collaborates with leadership to manage committee logistics, admissions support, data tracking, and communications across multiple campuses.

Qualifications

Two years of administrative or program coordination experience.
Experience in higher education or healthcare setting preferred.
Ability to prepare financial statements and budgets.

Responsibilities

Assist the Associate Dean for the DNP Program in managing the DNP program; support students and faculty.
Coordinate projects requiring monitoring and evaluation.
Oversee daily operations; organize program activities and priorities.
Provide routine and non-routine technical support and problem solving for students and faculty.
Conceptualize, develop, and prepare written products such as training materials, website content, final progress reports, and promotional materials.
Organize and lead workshops, events, or meetings; manage logistics and communications.
Evaluate program effectiveness and recommend improvements; develop evaluation methodologies.
