Job summary

The University of Maryland School of Nursing (UMSON) invites applications for a DNP Program Specialist to provide comprehensive administrative support for the DNP program. This role supports the Associate Dean and collaborates with senior leadership to manage committee logistics, admissions, data tracking, and communications.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years of administrative or program coordination experience in higher education or healthcare preferred.
• Bachelor's degree required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Associate Dean for the DNP Program in managing the DNP program.
• Coordinate projects that require monitoring and evaluation.
• Oversee daily operations, organize program activities, and set priorities.
• Provide routine and non-routine technical support and answer questions from students and faculty.
• Interpret program goals and policies and provide administrative support.
• Develop training materials, website content, progress reports, and promotional materials.
• Organize and lead workshops, events, or meetings; manage logistics and communication.
• Evaluate program effectiveness and implement improvements.
