Job summary

Moderna Therapeutics in Norwood, MA leads DNA Manufacturing and Cell Bank operations. This senior role directs a high-performing team, drives continuous improvement, and partners with MSAT, QA, Supply Chain, and Digital to translate technical priorities into reliable manufacturing execution.

You will shape change controls, technology transfers, and data-driven performance management, while preparing for regulatory inspections.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, science, manufacturing, or another relevant technical discipline or equivalent
• Experience in biopharmaceutical manufacturing, technical operations, or operational excellence
• Proven ability to lead and develop people, set priorities, coach performance and build capability
• Ability to influence in a complex matrix and manage cross-functional programs
• Experience with GMP manufacturing and quality systems, including change control and regulatory readiness

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach a team of specialists with broad DNA and Cell Bank manufacturing expertise
• Own and improve the DNA Manufacturing continuous improvement program and OpEx
• Lead cross-functional initiatives spanning DNA Manufacturing and partner organizations
• Own manufacturing change controls associated with area improvements
• Coordinate technology transfers and manufacturing readiness activities
• Use data trends and performance indicators to identify risks and opportunities
• Establish dashboards and performance reviews to monitor operations
• Support regulatory inspections and quality system activities as needed
• Collaborate with MSAT, QA, Supply Chain, Digital, and Planning to align priorities
