Job summary

Moderna is seeking a Head of Analytical Development in Norwood, MA to lead the Analytical Development organization, setting the scientific agenda, governance, and priorities across analytical method development, characterization, and regulatory readiness from early development through lifecycle management.

You will partner with CMC, Process Development, QC, Manufacturing, and external CDMOs to ensure method transfer, regulatory filings, and continuous improvement, while building leadership depth

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in analytical sciences with 18+ years in industry.
• Experience leading analytical development for biologics or vaccines.
• Willing to relocate to Norwood, MA.

Responsibilities

• Set and execute end-to-end analytical development strategy across product lifecycle.
• Lead sub-functions: analytical sciences, characterization, microbiology, and regulatory filing support.
• Partner with QC, Manufacturing, and Regulatory CMC to ensure lifecycle readiness.
