Job summary

Moderna, Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing Associate I in Drug Substance Operations to join our team in Massachusetts.

This hands-on role focuses on producing mRNA drug substance in a controlled GMP environment with precision and accountability. You will execute manufacturing operations, perform cleanroom tasks, and support aseptic processing, formulation, and filling while maintaining strict documentation and data integrity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience in manufacturing, operations, biopharma, life sciences or other regulated environments is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Execute manufacturing operations by following approved procedures, batch records and work instructions in a GMP-regulated environment.
• Perform cleanroom operations with discipline and attention to detail.
• Support drug substance manufacturing activities including aseptic processing, formulation, filtration, mixing, filling and dispensing.
• Complete documentation in real time using good documentation practices and data integrity standards.
• Maintain cleanliness, control and readiness of the production area.
• Work with manufacturing systems and equipment such as SAP, Veeva, DeltaV, Syncade, LIMS and CMMS as required.
• Collaborate with teammates and cross-functional partners to ensure smooth execution.
