Job summary

Moderna is seeking a Manufacturing Associate II to join Research Analytics - High Throughput Operations in Cambridge, MA. This hands-on role supports reliable, timely production of DNA, mRNA, and Lipid Nanoparticle (LNP) materials used across Moderna's research portfolio.

You will independently execute established high-throughput workflows, operate manual and automated lab systems, document work accurately, and contribute to workflow improvements while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Requires 4+ years of relevant experience for Associate level or 2+ years with Bachelor's.
• Experience executing lab or manufacturing workflows in regulated or fast-paced settings.
• Experience operating lab instrumentation and automated production systems.
• Strong documentation habits and data integrity.
• Effective written and verbal communication across teams.

Responsibilities

• Execute day-to-day high-throughput manufacturing activities for DNA, mRNA, and LNP materials.
• Prepare samples, reagents, consumables, and production materials while using manual and automated equipment.
• Complete production records and digital documentation, ensure quality and safety.
• Monitor processes, troubleshoot routine issues, and support investigations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve workflow efficiency and capture improvements.
