Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduation from standard high school or the equivalent.
• Three (3) years of full-time experience in public contact work, sales, cashiering, or bookkeeping, or two years of full-time or equivalent part-time experience with the Division of Motor Vehicles.
• Substitution: College credit from an accredited college or university, business school, or vocational training may be substituted through an established formula for the required experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead capacity overseeing the DMV Specialists in the Division of Motor Vehicles Headquarters.
• Assist the supervisor in planning, assigning, and reviewing work of employees, as well as approving leave.
• Training employees in new work methods and orientation; handles unusual and complex issues related to the unit.
