Job summary

The Transportation DMV Specialist 1 position reports to the Clearing House Division of the West Virginia Division of Motor Vehicles in Kanawha County. Under general supervision, performs full-performance level clerical work assisting customers, answering inquiries, and providing information pertaining to the services provided by the WV Division of Motor Vehicles.

Qualifications

• Graduation from standard high school or the equivalent.
• One year of full-time or equivalent part-time paid experience in bookkeeping, sales, cashiering or related public contact work.
• Substitution: College credit from an accredited college or university, business school, or vocational training may be substituted through an established formula for the required experience.
• All applicants must consent to fingerprinting and a criminal background investigation.

Responsibilities
