Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• One year of full-time or equivalent part-time paid experience in bookkeeping, cashiering, or related public contact work.
• College credit may be substituted for the required experience.

Responsibilities

• Engage and assist customers as the primary contact, guiding them on motor vehicle laws, policies, fees and documentation.
• Process driver's licenses, ID cards, vehicle titles and registrations.
• Administer driver's license knowledge and practical tests after training and certification.
• Perform cashiering duties, balance daily cash drawers, and update state computer databases.
