Job summary

The DME Coordinator at clearway oversees daily operations of the DME program, ensuring productive workflows and patient outcomes in line with regulatory requirements.

You will train staff, manage inventory, and optimize dispensing processes while collaborating with providers, payers, and other offices to ensure smooth, compliant operations across sites. Travel up to 50% may be required.

Qualifications

• At least two years of related experience in a healthcare setting.
• Proficient with Internet and MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and ERP/CRM systems.
• Knowledge of industry regulations and ICD-10 guidelines.
• Strong written and oral communication; able to work independently and in a team.
• Detail oriented with solid organizational and multi-tasking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Train and support staff, provide constructive feedback.
• Monitor DME inventory and order to maintain par levels.
• Execute DME dispensing processes and optimize customer satisfaction.
• Educate patients and staff on product use and outcomes per provider and manufacturer guidance.
• Ensure compliance with federal/state laws related to DME operations.
• Communicate with offices on prior authorizations.
• Engage vendors and conduct in-services for providers.
• Manage DME workflow from order to charge entry.
• Obtain necessary documentation to meet payer requirements.
• Dispense DME and conduct test fittings as needed.
• Discuss insurance plans, financial responsibilities, and patient payments.
• Oversee productivity of the DMEPOS program and generate reports.
• Check emails regularly and participate in trainings.
