Job summary

Kuresmart is seeking a DME Coordinator to oversee daily DME program operations, maximizing patient outcomes through effective procedures and staff coordination. The role includes training staff, managing inventory, dispensing processes, educating patients, ensuring regulatory compliance, and generating reports to support payer requirements and program productivity.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Internet and MS Office software (MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Outlook).
• Working knowledge of ERP and CRM systems.
• Understanding of insurance coverage policies and ICD-10.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to lead others and work in a team.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize and maintain accuracy.
• Familiarity with medical practices and terminology.
• Ability to meet production and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Trains and supports staff and provides feedback.
• Monitors DME inventory and maintains par-levels.
• Executes DME dispensing processes and improves customer satisfaction.
• Educates patients and staff on product use and expectations.
• Ensures compliance with laws and regulations.
• Communicates with offices about prior authorizations.
• Educates providers on program changes through vendor in-services.
• Manages DME workflow from order to charge entry.
• Ensures required documentation aligns with payer requirements.
• Dispenses DME and conducts test-fittings as needed.
• Educates patients on insurance plans and cost responsibilities.
• Maintains overall productivity of the DMEPOS program.
• Generates and updates reports as directed.
• Participates in trainings and other duties as assigned.
