Job summary

cwpnonproviders is seeking a DME Coordinator to manage daily operations of the DME program, ensuring productivity and patient outcomes through effective procedures.

The role trains staff, monitors inventory, handles dispensing processes, educates patients on products and insurance, and maintains compliance with laws/regulations while collaborating across offices to optimize the DME workflow.

Qualifications

• At least two years of related experience in a healthcare setting.
• Proficient with MS Office and business software (ERP/CRM).
• Knowledge of insurance policies and ICD-10.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
• Able to multitask and prioritize effectively.

Responsibilities

• Trains and supports staff throughout the organization and provides feedback.
• Monitors DME inventory and orders inventory to maintain par-levels.
• Executes DME dispensing processes and improves customer satisfaction.
• Educates patients and staff on product use, care, and outcomes as instructed.
• Ensures compliance with federal, state, and other laws for DME operations.
• Communicates with offices regarding DME prior authorizations.
• Coordinates DME workflow from order to charge entry.
• Records and maintains documentation to meet payer requirements.
