Spire Med DME is seeking a DME Coordinator for a part-time role in the San Francisco Bay Area. You will oversee daily site operations, manage inventory, brace fitting, documentation, and billing while delivering outstanding customer service and coordinating with the billing office.

You’ll educate staff on products, assist with insurance claims, and help maintain inventory accuracy. The role emphasizes collaboration, process improvements, and compliant workflows.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Medical assistant.
• Healthcare background.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations at assigned site(s), inventory management, brace fitting, documentation, and charge entry.
• Provide superior customer service, manage orthopaedic bracing and supply programs, fit bracing, educate patients on product usage, and ensure accurate insurance billing.
• Track, gather and organize documentation for insurance claims.
• Take orders on medical supplies and set up billing and disbursement.
• Answer calls and emails.
• Educate physicians and staff on supplies and serve as a resource for product-related questions.
• Provide training on equipment usage to providers and medical staff.
• Monitor inventory par levels and establish them.
• Track DMEPOS dispenses, costs and generate purchase orders.
