Job summary

OneroRx is seeking a caring Patient Care Specialist for our Home Medical Equipment department. You will work directly with patients, families, and healthcare providers to provide mobility aids, safety products, and related DME in home settings.

No prior DME experience required; we provide full training. This role emphasizes compassionate service, clear communication, and helping patients maintain independence.

Qualifications

• Compassionate and patient-focused approach to care.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to learn and adapt — training provided.
• Comfortable with light physical work (lifting/transporting equipment).
• Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented.
• Prior healthcare, customer service, or sales experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients and caregivers with selecting and understanding durable medical equipment (DME).
• Provide education, demonstrations, and compassionate support for safe use of equipment.
• Deliver and set up equipment in patients' homes (some lifting and driving).
• Work with healthcare providers and insurers to ensure proper documentation and coverage.
• Maintain accurate patient and equipment records.
• Support sales growth by building trusted relationships with patients, caregivers, and community partners.
