Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking a Salesperson to support the DIY business, meet sales goals, and deliver excellent customer service. The role covers battery installations, testing, and wiper installs, with focus on inventory accuracy and safe handling of parts.

It can be part-time or full-time, with varied shifts to cover evenings and weekends. The position requires basic automotive knowledge, strong communication, and the ability to use store systems and POS.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment.
• Speak and write English; Spanish a plus; communicate effectively with customers and teammates.
• Read and interpret safety rules, manuals, catalogs; perform basic math accurately.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally.
• Willing to work varied days, evenings, and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customers and calls.
• Meet personal sales goals and help store reach overall targets.
• Perform DIY services such as battery installation and wiper installs.
• Maintain inventory processes including put-away, counts, and back stock.
• Ensure store cleanliness and safe, efficient operation of stock and delivery.
