Advance Auto Parts is seeking an energetic Salesperson to support the DIY customer segment and help meet sales targets. You will work with store systems, stock knowledge, and safety procedures while delivering battery installations, testing, and wiper services as needed.

The role emphasizes strong communication, inventory control, and basic automotive knowledge. This position can be part-time or full-time, and involves standing for long periods and occasional heavy lifting in a retail setting.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment, providing superior customer experiences.
• Speak and write English; Spanish a plus; communicate effectively with customers, peers and management.
• Read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, parts catalogs, and procedure manuals.
• Use basic math accurately for in-store transactions and inventory counts.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal and store sales goals.
• Provide DIY services such as battery installation and wiper installs.
• Maintain store product and operational standards.
• Handle inventory processes including truck put away, cycle counts and back stock.
