Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking a Salesperson to support the DIY business with knowledge of parts and automotive systems. The role may be part time or full time and expects proficiency with store systems and inventory maintenance.

Primary duties include assisting customers, achieving sales goals, and providing DIY services such as battery installation and wiper replacements. Flexibility for days, evenings, and weekends is required.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment.
• Ability to speak and write English; Spanish a plus.
• Basic math skills for transactions and parts.
• Ability to work days, evenings, and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customers in person and by phone.
• Achieve personal sales goals and help store achieve its sales goals.
• Provide DIY services including battery installation and wiper installs.
• Maintain store product and operational standards.
• Manage inventory processes including cycle counts and back stock.
• Safely deliver parts to customers as needed.
• Keep store clean and organized, including floors and parking lot.
