Job summary

Advance Auto Parts in Ohio is seeking a Salesperson to support the DIY business and achieve sales and service objectives. The role requires knowledge of store systems, basic automotive parts knowledge, and the ability to source from multiple channels.

The position can be part time or full time, with fleet safety certification preferred. Key duties include delivering excellent customer experiences in-store and by phone, meeting sales goals, and performing DIY services such as battery installation

Qualifications

• Speak and write English; Spanish a plus.
• Provide effective communication and build relationships with customers, peers and management.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, parts catalogs, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to work varied shifts including days, evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customers and phone calls.
• Achieve personal sales goals and help the store reach its sales goals.
• Provide DIY services such as battery installation and wiper installs.
• Maintain store product and operational standards.
• Manage inventory processes including truck put away and cycle counts.
