Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is hiring a Salesperson in Ohio. The role supports the DIY business with knowledge of store systems, automotive parts, and service tasks. This position may be part-time or full-time, with safety certifications preferred.

You will deliver excellent customer experiences, work toward sales goals, and perform DIY services such as battery installations and wiper replacements. The role emphasizes stock control and maintaining clean, organized stores.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues.
• Basic automotive knowledge and interest in DIY projects.
• English speaking; Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal sales goal and help store achieve its sales goals.
• Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs.
• Maintain store product and operational standards.
• Inventory processes including truck put away, cycle counts, back stock.
