Advance Auto Parts in Ohio seeks a Salesperson to support the DIY business and drive sales while delivering quality service. The role requires knowledge of store systems, basic automotive parts knowledge, and the ability to source from stores, hubs, and suppliers.

Position can be part-time or full-time; fleet safety certification is preferred. The role emphasizes excellent customer interactions, operational standards, and inventory processes.

Qualifications

• Speak and write English (Spanish a plus); communicate effectively and build relationships with customers, peers and management
• Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, parts catalogs, and procedures
• Use basic math for transactions and measurements
• Ability to work days, evenings, and weekends as needed

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customers and phone calls
• Achieve personal and store sales goals
• Provide DIY services like battery installation and wiper installs
• Maintain store product and operational standards
• Manage inventory processes including truck put away, cycle counts, back stock
