Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking an entry-level Salesperson to support the DIY business, assist customers in-store and by phone, and help achieve sales and service objectives. The role requires basic automotive knowledge, familiarity with store systems, and the ability to source parts from stores, hubs, pdq, and external suppliers.

Position can be part time or full time, with a focus on maintaining inventory accuracy, safe operation of equipment, and delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment, providing superior customer experiences
• Basic knowledge of automotive parts and systems, with ability to learn store inventory and operations

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls
• Achieve personal sales goal and help store achieve its sales goals
• Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Maintain store product and operational standards
• Responsible for inventory processes including truck put away, shoot outs, cycle counts, Back stock
