Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking an entry-level Salesperson to support the DIY business and achieve sales and service goals. You will use store systems, apply basic automotive and part knowledge, and source from stores, hubs, and suppliers.

This role can be part-time or full-time and requires familiarity with inventory workflows. Responsibilities include delivering excellent DIY customer service, performing battery installations and wiper changes, and maintaining store standards.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of successful sales experience in retail.
• Entry-level with ability to learn store systems.
• Must be able to work multiple days, evenings, weekends.
• Basic automotive knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customers.
• Achieve personal sales goals and help store achieve its sales goals.
• Provide DIY services including battery installation and wiper installs.
• Maintain store inventory and operational standards.
• Manage inventory processes including truck put away, cycle counts, back stock.
