Advance Auto Parts is seeking an entry-level Salesperson to support the DIY business and help reach sales and service goals. Candidates should understand store systems, basic automotive knowledge, and have the ability to source from stores, hubs, and suppliers.

The role supports DIY services like battery installation and wiper installs, maintains inventory accuracy, and ensures cleanliness and safe delivery of parts. Flexibility for part-time or full-time schedules is required.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment.
• Ability to speak and write English (Spanish a plus); strong communication and relationship-building.
• Ability to work an assortment of days, evenings, and weekends as needed.
• Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, parts catalogs, and procedure manuals.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls
• Achieve personal sales goal and help store achieve its sales goals
• Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs
• Maintain store product and operational standards
• Inventory processes including truck put away, cycle counts, Back stock
• Store cleanliness and stocking duties
• Safely deliver parts to customers as needed
