Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking an entry-level Salesperson to support the DIY business and hit sales/service goals. The role requires store systems knowledge, basic automotive parts knowledge, and the ability to source from stores, hubs, and external suppliers.

Part-time or full-time, with safety certification preferred. Responsibilities include helping customers in person and by phone, performing battery installs and wiper services, maintaining inventory, and ensuring store standards.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment.
• Basic driving and navigation ability.
• Speak and write English; Spanish a plus; communicate effectively.
• Ability to work days, evenings, and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal sales goal and help store achieve its sales goals.
• Provide DIY services including battery installation and wiper installs.
• Maintain store product and operational standards.
• Responsible for inventory processes including truck put away, cycle counts, back stock.
• Store cleanliness and general stocking; deliver parts as needed.
