Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking an entry-level Salesperson to support the DIY business and meet sales/service objectives in a retail environment. The role requires knowledge of store systems, basic automotive parts knowledge, and the ability to source from multiple channels.

The position can be part-time or full-time, with safety certifications preferred. Responsibilities include assisting DIY customers, performing battery/wiper services, and maintaining inventory and store standards.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a retail environment.
• Speak and write English; Spanish a plus.
• Basic math for handling transactions and measurements.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customers and phone calls.
• Achieve personal sales goals and help store reach overall sales targets.
• Provide DIY services such as battery installation and wiper installs.
• Maintain store product and operational standards; manage inventory processes.
• Safely deliver parts to customers as needed.
